Dr. Bar-Zion received her BS degree in Biological Sciences from UCI, and her D.D.S. from UCLA. In addition, she completed two years of post-doctorate training at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, where she received her certificate as a Pediatric Dentist Specialist. Dr. Bar-Zion is a part-time faculty at UCLA Department of Pediatric Dentistry.

She also holds membership status in many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Society of Dentistry for Children, the California Society of Pediatric Dentists and the California Dental Association.
